I am a financial and business professional with 19 years of experience in financial services, SaaS in the dental industry, and at a fast-growing dental company owned by a private equity firm. This valuable experience includes five years as a business owner. I sold my business in April 2020 and earned an MBA and MS in Finance from the University of Utah in May 2022. I am a thorough and analytical person with a long history of finding creative solutions for hundreds of diverse clients and business partners. During my two years of graduate school, I enhanced my technical skills with a focus on working with large data sets in Excel and Power BI, while using my strategic mindset to use that analysis to make useful data-driven recommendations. In the years since business school, I have successfully applied those lessons for both a large publicly traded company and a small but very fast-growing PE-owned company. If I don't know how to do something, then I know how to figure it out and get it done. I have leadership and management experience, and I embrace the growth mindset to help myself and others always improve. WHAT I OFFER Strong Analytical Skills: I am adept at understanding what is working, what is not, and what needs to change. I enjoy analyzing a problem and collaborating with others to find the best solutions. I believe in the principles of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making. My natural curiosity and logical mindset help me in this endeavor. Strategic Thinking: I have the ability to look ahead and see what problems or opportunities are coming my way so that I might be proactive instead of reactive. I anticipate problems before they become an issue and see the business world through a strategic lens. I begin with the end in mind. Ownership Mentality: I have been both employee and employer. Few employees know how to truly think like an owner and take ownership of their work. I do. Experienced Leadership: I owned my business for over five years, managing 15 employees. I know what it means to lead by example and handle the various challenges that confront any leader. I believe in having a growth mindset and learning from failures instead of pointing fingers. Relationship Building: I know how to build relationships, communicate effectively, and manage expectations to ensure stakeholders are satisfied across many different departments and business units.
