As a Data Analyst with extensive experience in the telecoms and streetworks sectors, I thrive on transforming raw data into actionable insights. Over the years, I've developed and implemented comprehensive reporting suites, significantly improving performance, compliance, and safety for my teams. My self-taught expertise in Excel and proficiency in formulas and functions, Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, data modelling, dashboard creation, and data visualization have enabled me to deliver critical data solutions that drive decision-making and operational efficiency. In my current role, I provide data, insights, and analysis to a variety of stakeholders within a large, UK-wide civils, poling, and audit team. I am responsible for the full end-to-end data journey, from querying source data systems and data modelling to ensuring quality, clean data is available on demand. I have created insightful reports and dashboards that deliver critical data to drive improved performance, compliance, and safety. I manage stakeholder requests for enhancements to existing reports and the creation of new tools, views, and measures. I designed, developed, and implemented a fully functional, dynamic, Excel and SharePoint-based reporting suite with automated processes that significantly improved data efficiency and reduced refresh times. Additionally, I am currently supporting the migration of an Excel-based reporting suite into Google Cloud Platform using Google BigQuery and Qlik, enhancing processing and reporting capabilities and moving our team into a modern data environment. I have increased knowledge, techniques, and skills within the team by creating learning resources and giving presentations and workshops that showcase new tools and encourage data consumption. I love being the ‘go to’ person for data-related questions and enjoy sharing tips, tricks, and advice with colleagues.
