About Matt Zar

I'm an Entrepreneur, a Venture Capitalist, and an Attorney. I originally came out of college and focused on Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions, Dispersion, Creative Syndication and Finance. This path led me down many Venture Capitalistic opportunities, and has with good fortune landed me at my latest group of investments. My current focus is on improving and expanding the Packaging Supply Distribution of Vertex to new markets, maintaining the trajectory of the investing arm of Private Equity Funding, and with the latest exciting addition of Bridgewater Law Group, building a law firm that uniquely caters to clients with exceptional service and results. An ulterior goal is to have a strong In-House, Principal Based, Legal department with which to manage and facilitate both current and future ventures. In addition to business I spend a lot of time focused on my health. I think maintaining a healthy body and mind is a very vital step in maintaining a healthy business. I believe that strenuous athletic activity not only pushes the limits of comfort zones, which plays directly into every aspect of life, but has been scientifically proven to improve neurological processing and overall psychiatric health. We're only as strong as to the extent to which we push ourselves.
