About Matteo Buffagni
Master degree with honors in mechatronic engineering.I started in technical dept. but, after one year only, I moved to a more dynamic role, traveling in Italy and China, where I learned to approach people of different cultures, ages and backgrounds. This allowed me to rapidly improve my soft skills and at the same time acquire flexibility and leadership.I then started in the automation field (AGVs), in a worldwide market (Italy, Spain, and US), an experience that allowed me after a few years to join TGW.In 2019 I moved from sales to service where I was given the opportunity to create a new department (over 50 people) focused on Key Account as YNAP, ZALANDO etc. and their related full service contracts (resident engineer). Two years later my responsibility was then extended to the whole customer portfolio.Today, as Senior Director CS @Swisslog (KUKA group), I’m responsible for P&L of CS South Europe (Italy and Spain mainly) and CS Middle East in an EMEA matrix organization.
