About Matteo Bugatti
Born and raised in Milan, Italy, I've always been fascinated by technology and applied sciences. I started my path as a Mechanical Engineer at Politecnico di Milano, where I gained a strong expertise in advanced manufacturing processes and materials, design of experiments and statistical process monitoring. I'm currently working in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano and ESA in the framework of a co-sponsored PhD activity on Additive Manufacturing (AM) process monitoring to explore new strategies for rapid qualification of mission-critical space components built with AM. Alongside this main research activity, I'm involved in the coordination and the management of other research projects on related topics. Recently, I started collaborating with companies interested to start their journey in the Additive Manufacturing field, or with companies that need consulting on specific topics and issues (part redesign, defects root cause analysis, etc.).
