Matteo Campulla – Interdisciplinary Artist | Digital Media & Glitch Aesthetic I create works that disintegrate reality through the lens of glitch art, sound experimentation, and fragmented text. My practice navigates the collapse of systems, the decomposition of meaning, and the emergence of new forms from the breakdown of old ones. From audiovisual performances to interactive installations, my art is an exploration of failure as both a process and a statement. It is through this failure that I aim to generate collective hallucinations, where technology, language, and human experience are shattered and remade. I have exhibited my work internationally, at events like The Wrong Biennale and various digital art festivals. My creations are a confrontation with the present, an attempt to deconstruct the digital landscape and offer an alternative reading of the world through fractured narratives and glitch aesthetics- What I Do: Artistic Projects: Video art, sound design, interactive installations, experimental short films. Commissioned Work: Music videos, documentaries, branded content, and TV productions. Creative Philosophy: My work is driven by a need to challenge, distort, and reframe the realities we inhabit. The glitch is my language, and in it, I find a unique space for critical exploration- Exploration of AI in Art: Recent developments in artificial intelligence have opened new frontiers in my practice. The intersection of machine learning and creative processes has become a tool for deconstructing artistic languages and experimenting with generative systems. I’ve been exploring how AI can both amplify and distort my own artistic methods, creating unpredictable visual and sound-based glitches that interact with human input in real-time. This fusion of human creativity and AI-generated chaos allows me to push the boundaries of my practice, challenging notions of authorship, agency, and the role of machines in the creative process- Currently exploring: The intersection of text and sound in digital spaces. Collaborative projects that bring together the world of glitch art, performance, and new media. The use of AI as a medium for creative decomposition and generative aesthetics- Key Influences: Digital collapse and post-human theory. The failure of technology as a point of departure.
