About Matteo Gordini
I started to work in Fondazione Ecosistemi since 2018 as a project management assistant within national and European projects (Horizon 2020, INTERREG) related to urban metabolism, circular economy and sustainable procurement. The projects' technical activities in which I am involved include, in particular: the design and delivery of capacity building activities; the elaboration of training, informative and guidance materials in the field of GPP and sustainable development; provision of helpdesk services to support public authorities in the implementation of GPP policies, practices and regulations (e.g, Italian minimum environmental criteria). As a GPP expert, I am also involved in the design of EU funded projects, especially in relation to the development of the work packages related to GPP interventions. Since 2019 I am the national contact person for Procura+, the European network of regional and local entities for the promotion of innovative and sustainable procurement.
