About Matteo Merlin

Fund Manager of Absolute Green Bond Fund (Aum more than 1.5 bio Eur) launched in Jan 2018 and Green Euro Credit Fund (Aum more than 600 mio Eur) launched in Feb 2021. Interest the evolution and different instruments to support a credible transition to a Sustainable Finance, also as a member of the ABI Working Group on Banking, Environmental and Climate Change Main expertise- Green bonds, Transition Bonds, Sustainability-Linked Bond (more than 7 years) with a deep knowledge and critical positive analysis of different instruments of Sustainable Finance and the relative connection with ESG - Fixed Income Bonds - Government, Agency, Corporate Debt, Emerging Market (Hard currency and Local currency), FX, Derivatives with experience of more that 15 years - Constant willingness and ability to question in order to improve their knowledge through interpersonal comparison and combined with a process of self-training My work experience helped me to enhance the ability of working in teams, developing and proposing challenging Project with the ability to look to the future and the possible implications of the different choices, because when approaching a problem is every time helpful to have more point of view.
