I am a Biomedical Engineer who graduated from Politecnico di Milano in April 2019 and I have a question for you: what if doctors could see inside the patient without surgical incisions and in a clearer way than looking at biomedical images on computer screens? That's what we are trying to do at Artiness, a new start-up offering innovative solutions to exploit augmented reality in the clinical world. We develop ad hoc holographic software solutions that help clinicians have an accurate and intuitive view of patients’ anatomy and so support them in their daily decisions, from diseases diagnosis to procedural planning. In particular, I am in care of reconstructing 3D patient-specific realistic models of cardiovascular structures from biomedical images.
