About Matteo Risi

I am a second-year student currently studying In the HVAC Technician program at George Brown College. While at George Brown, I am getting the opportunity to learn about the HVAC trade with not only some hands-on experiences through the labs I attend, but I also get to understand the theoretical side of the trade. I have worked in many retail jobs where I was allowed to work in teams, alone and with my managers. This is where I was able to gain customer service experience. While at George brown, some of the skills that I have been able to acquire have been, Basic understanding of how to read electrical wire diagrams, learning how to use a voltmeter, a basic knowledge of soldering correctly and working with copper, as well as how to cut, reem, and connect copper pipes. Once I've graduated (expected April 2024), I will be looking to gain even more experience in the trade to better my skills and take my knowledge to the next level.
