About Matteo Storti

I’m a scientist in the Neonatology and Pulmonary Rare Disease Preclinical Experimental Pharmacology & Translational Science Unit at Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A. Along the last 5 years, I have been responsible for in-vivo, ex-vivo, and in-vitro experimental activities in neonatal diseases (RDS and BPD) models. In particular, I gained significant experience in setting-up and validating new animal models and -omics analysis. Recently, I am responsible for translational approach in the neonatology unit. I am a self-motivated, result-oriented, hard-worker, well-organized, and creative researcher. I am a fast learner, at ease with challenging environments and tight timelines. I easily liaise with people from different fields and backgrounds thanks to my academic and pharmaceutical R&D experiences. I act at best in the team activities coordination, supported by solid communication and networking skills.
