About Matthew A. Barr

The growth and development of people is the highest calling of leadership."- Harvey S. Firestone I am a competent and principled leader with a passion for nurturing the talent of individual team members and aligning their interests with larger organizational goals. People are the foundation of any business; to be an effective manager, one must be willing to lead by example—willing to step into challenges and fears, willing to set and work toward large goals, willing to stay diligent when hard work is required. Currently, I lead financial planning functions for a mid-sized credit card issuer in Ohio; my team manages the profits and losses for the total business. In this role I have been able to effect positive change and create tangible value for our company. Teams under my leadership have done incredible things that I'd love to share with you; let’s discuss how I might be a positive influence in your organization and the value that character-driven leadership can bring to your team.
