About Matthew Angelini

I am currently working as a Project Manager at Wobble Genomics, a pioneering healthcare and biotechnology company specialising in long-read RNA sequencing. Its innovative Level-Up biochemical technology enhances the detection of low-abundance RNA sequences, allowing scientists to capture all unique full-length RNA sequences in any sample. Paired with its TAMA bioinformatic technology, Wobble optimises the identification of low-level signals, using RNA biology to drive deeper insights from sequencing data. At Wobble, I lead cross-functional initiatives across the Research & Development, Bioinformatics, and Operations departments, where I am responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive project management systems tailored to support clinical, technical, and company-wide development. Additionally, I collaborate closely with the CEO & Founder and the Head of Operations on the development of our commercial strategy, where I lead research efforts. In this capacity, I draw on my primary and secondary research skills, along with my deep understanding of healthcare systems and industry dynamics, developed through my prior experience in strategic market access consulting. Before joining Wobble Genomics, I worked with a range of life sciences companies to support the transition of their assets from market authorisation to reimbursement, with a focus on oncology and rare diseases, with experience with a range of innovative technologies such as targeted therapies, gene therapies, and diagnostics. Projects included developing commercial launch strategies, conducting global pricing analysis, brand positioning, value story communications, target product profile development (TPP), and clinical trial design advice. This experience spans a variety of payer archetypes, including those in the U.S, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, and the Gulf States, giving me a strong understanding of the commercial challenges and opportunities that global life sciences companies face. At Wobble, I leverage this expertise to identify unmet needs of patients and different healthcare systems that our technology has potential solve. This includes considering the diagnostic and treatment landscapes, regulatory frameworks and evidence requirements, as well as the market access processes and payer considerations across our target markets.
