About Matthew Armstrong

I work for EdFinancial Services and freelance software development in the afternoons. Im dedicated to continuous learning and personal growth increasing the impact I have on the people I work with. In my free time I go backpacking and volunteer as a mentor with Bellefair JCB program for foster kids. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with my B.S. in Computer Engineering. During my time in college I had the amazing opportunity to work with diverse teams in a wide variety of industries. My path is unconventional since I started my experience as an electrical engineer. After a few internships I shifted my career to computer engineering. As my career in college came to an end I networked and help small startups with their custom software needs. Learning the necessary businesses language to have productive conversations with young entrepreneurs and business owners alike. I was able to help them identify their business needs, then transfer that language into software applications that fulfill them.
