I'm thoroughly enjoying my current role as Supply Chain & Compliance Manager; identifying and mitigating risks to the business and developing programmes of continuous improvement. With responsibility for Quality, Health & Safety, Logistics, Manufacturing Procurement, Compliance and Export Control. I am passionate about sustainability and am helping to steer our Group's ESG policies. Currently studying for my CIPs Level 6 exams in Strategic Procurement, I'm finding the course an excellent foundation in executive management and leadership, and supply chain value enhancement. Previous to this I've had almost 30 years Sales experience culminating in the role of Sales Manager in the electronics industry; with extensive experience throughout the UK, USA and Europe. My area of expertise has been in in opto-electronics and fibre optics, Sales Management, Business Development, Sales, Product Management, Technical support and Marketing. Strategic accounts included blue-chip companies in the Defence, Automotive, Industrial and Bio-Med markets.
