About Matthew Baker

I started Baker Services to pursue my diverse interests as a freelance worker. I work in three primary domains- English language services: Member of the Chartered Institute for Editing and Proofreading, I provide writing, editing, proofreading, and translating services for a wide range of projects, including research papers, project and funding proposals, academic articles, among others. My expertise includes Horizon Europe and various project funding mechanisms. I recently copyedited the forthcoming Springer publication "Women’s Human Rights under International and European Law" and translated the poetry album "Reims: mes yeux pétillent" from French to English- Teaching: I offer English language courses at all levels (A1-C2) to both university students and younger learners. Additionally, I conduct writing workshops and provide guidance to students preparing for university applications.
