About Matthew Bates

Recently I worked as a Business Analyst for Communitech. This sparked my passion for Project Management, as I guided multiple teams develop digital marketing plans for small businesses in Southern Ontario. Becoming a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), through the Project Management Institute, I feel has given me the tools to be a successful Project Manager in the future. I also volunteer my time through coaching basketball for St. John's College and Brantford CYO, both located in Brantford, Ontario. Giving back to youth through sports is a passion I enjoy and I hope to continue this throughout my life. Young people are our future and sports gives them tools they can use in their lives to be successful. Currently, I am looking for any experience in Project Management. It has been a dream of mine to work for Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, specifically with the Toronto Raptors. Even though I only have 6 months experience with Project Management I am an extremely hard worker, and I am willing to put the work in.
