I want to connect with other professionals, particularly those in I-O psychology, people and talent analytics, people science, training development and assessment, organizational development and behavior, and learning & development: My first career was in human services, where I worked closely with people with developmental disabilities to help them maximize their community involvement and learn self-sufficiency. I fell in love with psychology, statistics and analytics, and research in my undergrad, where I graduated summa cum laude. While there, I completed an honor's thesis, was involved in two different research labs, and worked as a tutor, where I won multiple awards for outstanding work. After graduation, I worked as a Data Analysis and Assessment specialist before starting a master's in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University at Albany in Fall 2020, where (despite COVID!) I honed my research and data analysis chops as well as applied these skills to multiple consultation projects. After graduation, I accepted a position as a research scientist at SHL Global, where I work with a variety of psychometric assessments measuring work behavior and cognitive ability. I am currently pursuing professional certification in AI and machine learning, and hope to blend the power of AI and psychometrics to help organizations make smart people decisions.
