At the moment I am a third year Finance, Tax and Advice student. Before this study I studied to be come a Junior assistant account. FTA is different to my previous study. I am studying how to advice clients on a Financial or Tax basis. I'm currently in the possension of the WFT Basis certificate. In my previous study I followed two internships at Intertrust. At Intertrust I learned how to work under pressure and how to reach the deadlines. In my first internship I was responsible together with my colleague for the Accounts Payable department. There I learned how to book purchase invoices and how to create payment batches. I also had to make an overview of the outstanding payments and which payments where still pending approval in excel. After I did that I had to Chase the relevant approvers for their approval in the system. During my second internship I was responsible with another colleague for the billing department. We had to activate the time writing for the client teams and issue invoices to the clients. I also participated in test runs for the system. Next to those responsibilities I learned how to create the tax return and how to book journal entries in SAP. These two activities were examined by school afterwards. I scored an 9.7 for those two activities. After a few months of working my director and direct colleague asked me to work in my replacer. I had to work in the person online due to corona and the new colleague living in a different country.
