About Matthew Boudreau
Since August 2024, I have been working as an educational consultant with the CSAP, supporting the development of programs and learning resources in Social Studies and Healthy Living (DPS), and serving as a point of contact for Ministry-led initiatives in English. With over 20 years of experience in secondary and post-secondary education, I’ve held a variety of roles, including teacher, instructional mentor, IB program coordinator, and equity and diversity representative. I’ve contributed to the development of several Social Studies programs such as Canadian Studies 11, Canadian Perspectives 10, and Civics 9, while supporting colleagues in implementing innovative and inclusive teaching practices. My work is guided by culturally and linguistically responsive pedagogy, universal design for learning, and metacognitive strategies.
