About Matthew Braukmann

Matthew Braukmann is the founding Member of Braukmann Law, PLLC, a boutique plaintiff's firm representing injured people in personal injury and workers' compensation claims. Matthew was born in a small town outside of Portland, Oregon. After graduating from high school, he attended Portland State University, obtaining a B.A. Degree in Administration of Justice, with Honors. He then enrolled in the University of Oregon Law School, which he attended for one year. Drawn to Montana for its outdoor activities, Matthew then relocated to the UM School of Law, in Missoula, Montana. He thereafter graduated from UM. Matthew began his legal career as an Attorney for Moulton Bellingham, PC, a defense and business firm in Billings, Montana, where he practiced for five years. After working as an in-house corporate attorney as General Counsel and Vice President, Matthew then founded Braukmann Law Firm, PLLC, where he practiced in the areas of employment litigation, consumer law, personal injury, products liability, workers compensation, and commercial litigation. In January 2014, he founded Odegaard Braukmann Law, where he grew the firm into one of the largest plaintiffs firms in the State of Montana. At the end of January 2019, Matthew ended his partnership with the other founding member of the firm, and founded Braukmann Law, PLLC, where he specializes in plaintiff's personal injury and workers' compensation claims. His full time Nurse Case Manager will be invaluable to his clients medical care, as well as financial recovery, now and into the future. Matthew is a member of the Yellowstone County Bar Association, the State Bar of Montana, the State Bar of Wyoming, and the Montana Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Montana and Wyoming District Courts and the Ninth Circuit. When he is not practicing law, Matthew spends time with his two daughters and his flat-coat retriever, enjoying all manner of outdoor activities.
