I am an enthusiastic and reliable apprenticed trained Toolmaker with a HNC in Mechanical Engineering and Australian Government Clearance. I have over 30 years experience in various engineering fields, 10 years of which involved the 3D machining of one off moulds and dies in conjunction with an offline CAD/CAM System. With over 10 years experience in the aerospace ind, involving liaising with the production office on new product integration to come up with the best manufacturing solution, fixture & work holding design. First article prove out of new products on 5 Axis DMG machining Centres. Supervising TA’s and apprentices and coordinating work flow through the cell according to work schedule. Previous experience with Mori Seiki Mill/Turn machining Centres and also Citizen Sliding head Lathes. Producing parts for Boeing and other Aerospace manufacturers. I can work in a team environment or under my own initiative, when required. I am a dedicated and trustworthy person, who possesses a methodical approach to work and the ability to read tool room drawings to produce components in accordance with ISO9001 standards. I would also say that I am a punctual individual who has as an excellent attendance and timekeeping record.
