About Matthew Breit

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and 5th Year Doctoral Candidate at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where I am deeply engaged in pioneering research on obesity. My passion lies in deciphering the complexities of homeostatic and hedonic appetite regulation to address the pervasive challenge of obesity. Through my academic journey and hands-on experience in nutrition, exercise, and behavioral weight loss interventions, I am dedicated to bridging the gap between theory and practice. By exploring the intersections of neuroscience, physiology, and behavior, I am committed to developing comprehensive strategies for obesity prevention and treatment.
