Matthew Bruce Game Designer/Level Designer “Always Keep Improving!” Introducing myself is always somewhat hard for me to do, diving into my passion, my love and commitment to the art of video games, just entertainment in general would produce way more than anyone would like to read. The same could be said if I were to describe the amount of pride, care and unwavering determination I put into any job I have. Instead of over elaborating I am going to just highlight a few values I have, the value I can bring, then a little about myself. A lot of the value I bring to any project or job stems from my eagerness to learn, my ability to adapt and my comprehension of, not only the many different areas and stages of production but also, the collaborations that have to happen between a variety of different perspectives and personalities in order for anything to be produced. My ability to thrive with anybody, work tirelessly to understand what we are trying to do, and radiate positivity and support to my team, makes me an asset to any production. These qualities are vital, in my opinion, when all the gears of each different department are spinning in tandem, that’s when art is made. I will always strive to improve, act on constructive feedback and prioritize the best in quality to benefit the team and the consumer. I am a determined, hungry, ambitious, game designer that is always trying to improve, innovate, and inspire with all my work. I graduated from full sail university in 2022, with a bachelor's degree in computer science through their game design program, I am a dedicated father of 2, have held 2 jobs consistently for the last 3 years, and can produce at least 10 references vouching for my tenacious work ethic, infectious positive attitude, and a self sufficient student no matter what I am being taught. I hope to bring value to you, the reader, and improve your team, your game and your work environment as a whole.
