About Matthew Bucktrout

I am a recent graduate from the University of Durham with a First Class Masters Degree in Physics. I am currently developing my professional knowledge and competencies whilst I grow my career within the financial services industry, as an Actuarial Associate within Aon's Strategy and Technology Group. I am currently building upon my previously accrued technical skills, utilising the company's financial modelling software Tyche. I am expanding my knowledge and understanding of reserving techniques and practices whilst actively collaborating with my colleagues in the development of the Tyche Reserving System. In my previous endeavours before embarking on my first steps in a corporate role, I have already gained work experience in roles as a Tutor Assistant of English, Mathematics and The Sciences to students aged 6-16, and as a Youth Support Worker for the National Citizen Service. Both of these roles provided me with an opportunity to demonstrate and further develop my communication skills, along with effective planning and time management capabilities.
