About Matthew Burden

Stories are how we connect to one another and share our experiences across all walks of life. That’s what made filmmaking so appealing to me from an early age and brought me across the country in pursuit of my goal to help tell stories that touch people. I’ve been fortunate to work on a wide range of stories such as quelling gang violence in the Midwest, female oral storytelling within the Indigenous Peoples of Canada, human interest pieces in the wide world of sports, and even mind-bending music videos that showcase the artist’s unique talent. As a production assistant, I’ve facilitated the creation of countless stories, as a writer, I’ve shared my stories with others, and as an IT Technician, I’ve helped people make stories of their own. No matter where you find your inspiration, I look forward to creating the next story together.
