About Matthew Cerilli

As a dedicated student at York University, I am passionately pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Professional Certificate in Public Administration and Law. With a strong focus on research and critical thinking, my academic journey is complemented by practical experiences as a Martial Arts Instructor and a Research Assistant. These roles have honed my skills in leadership, curriculum development, and both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Recognized for research excellence with the Dean's Award, I am passionate about applying my skills toward impactful public policy and legal studies. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy teaching, practicing and competing in martial arts, holding a 4th Degree Black Belt in Karate and a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As I prepare for a future in law, I am keen to explore opportunities that allow me to contribute to meaningful policy discussions and developments. I welcome connections and discussions on public policy, research methodologies, and the intersection of law and political science.
