About Matthew Cindric

Current professional football athlete pursuing a career in the National Football League. I am originally from Sammamish, WA, which is also where I currently reside. I am a former student-athlete at the University of California, Berkeley. I studied business administration at the Haas School of Business during my undergrad and completed a Masters in Education (Intersection of sport and education program) in December 2023. During my time at Cal I started over 30 games as well as being a 2-time player voted captain. Outside football, I was the president of the Christian athlete organization on campus, Athletes in Action (AIA) as well as the founder of the Golden Buddies football clinic which was a free clinic for kids with and without disabilities. I was also a part of the 2024 All State Good Works Team, which recognizes some of the best student-athletes who are doing great things in their communities. After tearing my bicep for the second time at the beginning of the 2023 season, I rehabbed back and entered the 2024 draft. I signed by the Minnesota Vikings after the draft and was with the team until final roster cuts August. I then joined the practice squad of the both the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets during the 2024 season. Upon finishing the season I signed with the Atlanta Falcons on a futures contract for the 2025 season. This offseason I am joining Dream Team to develop my skills in the professional world. Dream Team is an organization founded by Tony Jackson (3x IPO sales leader) to help former athletes use their unique skillsets in the tech industry. I believe that former athletes have all the tools to make a great difference in the workforce and I'm excited to help bridge that gap. Let's connect!
