Background

About Matthew Coleman

I have a proven track record as an educational leader in both the UK and international markets, leading and managing educational and commercial aspects of successful schools. I have operated in maintained, private and international sectors for provision for 3 to 18 year olds, whilst I consider my main specialism in the Primary. As a Senior Leader I have been involved in four consecutive KHDA (Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau, DSIB) and three Ofsted (UK Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills). All inspections have reported accelerated progress and sustainable impact. Under my leadership, both schools I have worked in have shifted from Special Measures/Very Good to sustain Outstanding judgements. I am an experienced school reviewer and inspector both in the UK and the Middle East. Subsequent development plans have helped schools grow and develop in a number of areas, most noticeably in teaching and learning, curriculum design and leadership. Educational leadership, building sustainable, innovative systems and outstanding curriculum development. I'm a passionate teacher and like to lead through my actions. Trust, integrity and collaboration are key to my practice and a believer that curiosity drives innovation.
