About Matthew Couri

With over 15 years in operations leadership, I've had the privilege of steering large-scale manufacturing and supply chain initiatives across multiple facilities and international markets. I've built a track record of driving performance, reducing waste, improving efficiency and fostering unity as well as a shared sense of purpose to increase results in large-scale manufacturing and supply chain operations across multiple facilities and international markets. My background spans full P&L ownership, strategic planning, Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, supply chain optimization, KPI & OKR reporting, departmental and processes restructuring, warehouse management, logistics and shipping controls, oversight of new product introduction (NPI) processes, preventive and predictive maintenance, tooling and mold maintenance and control, TPM, MES and OEE systems, quality management, customer audits and plant certifications (GMP, BMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949). Firm believer in the Kaizen attitute, Value stream mapping (VSM), Poka-yoke, 5S, Kanbans, PDCA, Ishikawa analysis, SMED and OEE. Besides my family, what truly drives me is assembling diverse people into high performance teams, fostering collaboration and empowering individuals to exceed their own expectations. I hold the conviction that we must alway put people first, then we can build new or improve existing processes. Finally, automate & simplify with systems and technology. Repeat ad infinitum and don't forget the people that made it happen!
