Former Chief Mate who sailed on Liquefied Natural Gas tankers. Responsible for the safe operation of the vessel, the planning and execution of cargo operations, the management of the deck department including - leading a team of officers and crew, maintaining their work and overtime hours, planning their monthly shifts, delegation of daily work and duties, maintaining stock of spares and consumables related to my department and the purchase of those spares and consumables. Other duties included: shipboard fire leader, medical person-in-charge, ships security officer, pollution response officer, garbage management officer, and chief cargo operator. Currently working as a Superintendent/Captain on dredges, responsible for the safe operations of the vessel, supervision of the crew, the Company and Port State rules, guidelines and documentation, oversight on maintenance and repairs, as well as purchase orders. I can lead your company's operations. I have a considerable amount of experience in the area of management and leadership while having the unique background on a floating facility, isolated from support and requiring troubleshooting and decision making using only the available knowledge and resources.
