About Matthew Culmone

Being a Sales Engineer beautifully combines my love for technology with my passion for helping customers. Most of my experience has focused around those two core areas: technology and customer service. I have participated in various support roles serving customers on a daily basis, with my highest priorities being their satisfaction, success and relationship building. In my most recent role I challenged myself to manage a team of Sales Engineers. I was proud to work with a great group of individuals and to hire 3 new SE's to complete the team. Training was a focus, as the group was very inexperienced in our target market. Through 1:1s, individual and group training sessions we worked together to improve our APM domain knowledge, POC engagements and demo capabilities. It was truly exciting to enable others to enjoy success in a role that I have loved for so long. Specialties: More than just a man with a well trimmed beard, I'm an excellent communicator, teacher and technology enthusiast. True happiness in my world is achieved by learning a new technology, evangelizing quality software or working with a customer to identify pain and solve problems.
