I am the Founder & Creative Director of Matte Equation, a wellness-first skincare brand focused on helping people manage stress, burnout, and recovery — supporting mind and body through ritual. We fuse functional skincare with immersive technology that encourage rest, ritual and reconnection. Matte Equation creates products that support stress relief, sleep and fitness recovery, rooted in functional ingredients and immersive experiences. Incorporating elements of science, technology and storytelling, every product allows you to step into its own world, making skincare more experiential. Through our immersive digital experiences, all the products we launch are accompanied with rituals that are grounding, restorative and personal. Before launching Matte Equation, I spent years working in public relations and strategic communications, helping leaders and organizations shape perception, navigate complexity and build meaningful influence. That experience sharpened my understanding of emotional psychology, brand trust and the power of narrative — lessons I now bring into every corner of my work as a founder. I’m a graduate of the University of Toronto and a lifelong student of beauty, neuroscience, storytelling, and the soft science of being human. When I’m not building brands, I’m exploring ideas — through fashion, yoga, movement or a quiet afternoon in a café. I believe in creating products that feel like moments, brands that feel alive and stories that make us feel a little more at home in the world. Let’s build something meaningful.
