About Matthew D. Scott

Before high school, I had my future and career planned. I was set on becoming a physicist, likely an astrophysicist. I was well on my way by the time I started college. But that changed. Why? I had a realization one day. It was this: I love physics- and I'm good at it. But I can't dedicate my life to it. I can't make the difference I want to make there. I realized how much I want to work with and for people, to make their lives better. I am now looking to help people in their live goals and life circumstances. I highly enjoy coaching, consulting, and organizational behavior. It's the perfect meeting grounds for the scientific part of my mind and the people-person part of me. It has has some hypothesizing, experimenting, analyzing, and problem-solving while interacting with people, what excites them, and their hopes and dreams. And the bonus part of it is it also can accommodate the entrepreneurial interest in me. The most fun I've had on the job is facilitating team-building activities. My basic philosophy is that life is about people and nobody is anybody without somebody. The way to make the world a better place is to make those in it be the best they can be. And that's what I aim to do; to help every individual to become more of what they could be and want to be: to unlock the power inside of each of us.
