Hi! I'm Matthew Dada, a versatile individual with a spectrum of passions and skills that include Data Analytics, Operations Management, Engineering, Tutoring, Reading, and Chess. My journey has led me through the intricate world of Data Analytics, where I wield tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI. I've done projects using Power BI and engaged in diverse data analysis initiatives using Python. What’s more, I’m currently taking strides to add data engineering to my skill set. In addition, I work as an Operations Supervisor under one of the largest content squads of Creative Plus Media—a fast growing content agency. My responsibilities cut across tracking deadlines, evaluating writers’ performances, nurturing growth, handling finances, and serving in an advisory role as well. Furthermore, I'm proud to lead the Quality Control team for the 7th edition of the Professor Ayodele Design Competition, ensuring the dissemination of top-tier content to the public. My responsibilities also extend to orchestrating a seamless journey to the grand finale, ensuring an exceptional experience for stakeholders. As a Mechanical Engineering student at the prestigious University of Lagos, my journey has beset the realm of engineering as well. With a rewarding six-month on-site experience at Matrix Energy Group (upstream and downstream sectors), I've deepened my understanding of how the engineering field operates—particularly the Oil and Gas sector. Owing to my impact-oriented projects above, here are a few of my key career achievements- I built a PowerBI project with 4 interactive dashboards- Built an SQL data warehouse- Worked as a collaborator on 2 Omdena Projects- Led a team of 15+ to manufacture a foldable and adjustable TD-Board- I actively worked on the maiden innovation report for PAADC 6.0 - Presently leading a team of 8 (including myself) to ensure that the overall quality of PAADC 7.0 is the best the world has ever seen. In my spare time, I indulge in one of my greatest passions: tutoring. Teaching is a true passion of mine, one that I've nurtured since my secondary school days. I find fulfillment in tutoring and contributing to the growth of others, as I believe that the more one impacts, the more one grows. Outside of my professional pursuits, I keep myself busy with the game of chess. Beyond being a pastime, chess embodies strategic thinking and serves as a medium for unwinding.
