About Matthew Daude

My first position was a yogurt shop called orange leaf in St. Louis where I was hired as an associate but was promoted to assistant store management. At orange leaf I learned to work register, clean store, make product, receive shipments, open and close the store, dismantle then clean then reassemble machines and cash out registers at the end of the night. I moved to Florida in 2015 where I worked at Portillo’s hot dogs for a little over a year where I worked drinks, fryers and expedite. In March of 2017, I joined Lowe’s as an overnight stocker where I am currently employed. Unloading trucks then filling in the shelves with product is my main responsibility as overnight stocker. I also operate heavy equipment such as order picker and narrow isle picker within the store to move heavy pallets and successfully store overstock above the bays where product is placed. I have worked with Lowe’s DOS system to manage prices, print labels, and check orders for customers for the upcoming work day. I have worked and queued IRP sheets for the store and helped receive cross-docks and other freight from the trucks sent to our store. I have been trained also to successfully dismantle and place shelves and racking in the store to create and consolidate space throughout the store. I have been entrusted by my management to help guide new team-members to understanding our responsibilities as stockers and learn the processes necessary to accomplish the tasks we are given. Aside from my work history, I have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.
