About Matthew Dezzi

School counseling graduate from Lehigh University with a passion for helping students reach their goals. Pursuing a career in which I am able to see the benefits of my labor on a day to day basis is extremely important to me, I always want to be proud of my work. In addition to working as a school counselor, I am also in the process of acquiring my license as a professional counselor. In my previous positions, I worked within an special education elementary classroom helping students realize their potential and improve upon their goals. Although the needs of each student were different, the main idea was always be to become a more complete, self-sufficient, and self-loving individual. Additionally, I spent my internship year learning under the guidance of licensed school counselors within Nazareth Area School District, both at the elementary level and the secondary level. Currently, I am a working as a school counselor at Saucon Valley High School, where I am able to help students work toward their goals for post-secondary education, social emotional well-being, and much more.
