About Matthew do

Matthew Do is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and clinical research sectors. For more than 17 years, he has been a key contributor at Almac, where he currently serves as Director of APAC Operations. Matthew began his career at Almac as an IRT Design and Project Manager, implementing IRT technologies across numerous clinical trials in different clinical phases and therapeutic areas. In 2013, he relocated to Asia to establish and grow Almac’s presence in the region—first in Singapore, then in Japan. His leadership was instrumental in building operational infrastructure, expanding client partnerships, and scaling regional capabilities to meet the evolving needs of sponsors across Asia-Pacific. Now based in Tokyo, Matthew oversees all aspects of Almac’s APAC operations, including business development, client engagement, operational delivery, and cross-functional team leadership. He brings a deep understanding of local clinical trials requirements and cultural nuances, enabling him and his team to deliver high-quality, tailored solutions for clients in APAC. Moreover, his work continues to strengthen Almac’s reputation as a trusted partner in delivering innovative and reliable clinical trial support across the APAC region.
