Background

About Matthew Dowsett

By taking ownership of the delivery of strategic, modern IT infrastructure, I have created and implemented a shared vision of change for the organization by taking forward business centralization, virtualization, standardization, and consolidation of legacy hardware and software systems and processes via data and system rationalization. I have scoped and engineered bespoke technical architecture that enables agile, secure, robust, and cost-effective delivery of services with business continuity and disaster recovery at the forefront of the IT provision of the organization. To achieve these outcomes, I have developed and implemented a comprehensive corporate IT framework that is consistent and effective in governance. Significant elements of this role incorporate identifying and implementing robust project planning, prioritization, and resourcing to lead project delivery and identify solutions to manage resource conflicts and shortfalls. I also employ hands-on management of third-party contractors to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery through strong relationship management, planning, risk management, technical direction, quality control, and SLA management.
