About Matthew Dreher

I am interested in learning new skills and sharpening the skills I have. I would love to work in the arts community, in almost any aspect. I have been a part of the construction crew for over 20 productions. I have rudimentary knowledge of welding, but a solid knowledge of construction and use of power tools. I have designed several sets for small local theaters. I have a hand drafting backround and am learning a CAD software now. I have a minor in art with an emphisis in photography and am learning Photoshop Elements 11 and becoming more interested in sculpture, mostly with wood at this point and will get involved with other materials as I learn their uses and how to work with them. I enjoy solving problems and figuring out the best ways to make things work. I am interested in design of all forms and am willing to and enjoy learning new things. I have produced, written, directed, and edited one short film and helped edited several others with Adobe premiere, iMovie, and Microsoft Moviemaker. I have had supervisor and assistant manager experience in retail and food service settings. I have retail and wholesale delivery experience, in that I delivered milk to homes and stores, assisted in delivering soda to stores, and delivered food to homes. I have warehouse experience, from working in the Sears loading dock, retrieving items, loading cars, and unloading trucks. I have forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck experience. I have office support experience and technology experience such as, fax machines, printers, scanners, laminaters, and projectors in a college and retail settings.
