I am a senior Bioengineering Honors student and a member of the Integrated Life Sciences Honors program at University of Maryland, College Park. My current research focuses on the development of mucus and cell-penetrating nanoparticles for improved delivery through the intestinal mucosa. I am applying to Biomedical Engineering Ph.D. programs so I can further explore my research interests (nanotechnology, drug delivery, immunoengineering) and eventually become a Professor of Biomedical Engineering.
