About Matthew Fields

Mr. Fields is the current patrol supervisor for the Alpha Squad of the Casselberry Police Department. He is assigned to the Dayshift and manages up to eight officers. Mr. Fields tasks cover the day-to-day duties of providing positive customer service for people in need, thwart crime, ensure policies and police methods are adhered to by subordinate officers, and to relay the needs of the administration with the abilities of the officers. To top it off, Mr. Fields is responsible for the training, time management, and cohesion of the group he supervises. In the past, Mr. Fields was the supervisor of Detectives and a deputized Task Force Agent investigating complex white-collar crimes at a federal level. His casework spanned Title 18 violations such as bank fraud, wire fraud and money laundering. A few examples of his training include international money laundering, interviewing skills and auditing for internal fraud. Mr. Fields has been a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE, a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) and an ASE certified mechanic after honorably serving in the U.S. Army.
