Experienced credentialed HIV specialty pharmacy manager excelling in patient care advocacy, education and operational health system leadership. I am currently serving as the Pharmacy Operations Manager at Duke Specialty Pharmacy overseeing the largest outpatient retail site at DukeHealth. Passionate about sharing knowledge and fostering positive change, I lead and oversee a large team of Specialty Pharmacy professionals in two locations who strive to put people first and achieve customer and patient excellence. My specialization is in HIV, but I am cross trained in all other chronic disease states in the patient management program. In addition to my expertise in patient care advocacy, education, and medication therapy management, I possess strong public speaking abilities and have an extensive leadership background. I have effectively communicated complex medical concepts to diverse audiences, engaging and educating healthcare professionals, patients, and community members on various chronic disease state management topics.
