About Matthew Franks

I am a computer person, I have built and/or rebuilt 7 computers in 2 years for me and my friends. once I start talking about computer parts I usually ramble on a little until someone wants to talk but I could go on and on about working to get someone a good computer for a good price. I thrive with the people around me even if I don't show it that much. I like to be a hands on type of person and might need someone to show me once or twice before I can get it down and do it on my own. I Hold myself to work hard, and if I can find a shortcut along the way that makes things easier without reducing quality of the product, I will figure out how to transition smoothly and ill make sure that the output is just as good if not better than the original way. but mostly I will choose the method that gets the right result the most times. My goal is to end up somewhere that manufactures processors or graphics cards so I can gain the necessary knowledge to potentially make my own graphics card or processor, just for fun and to see if I can do it. Currently I am a Computer Engineering Major at the University of North Texas going into my sophomore year. I plan on continuing with computer engineering but I might dip into electrical engineering to get more experience on that side of everything as well.
