About Matthew Friedman

As a Supervisor at Sigma Technologies leading a design team, my mission is centered on empowering my staff. With a background that includes technical expertise from the Army as a Technical Engineer (Honor Grad) and extensive hands-on experience in utility operations—starting as a Fielder, becoming a primary trainer, and managing operations for both Field and Design—I bring a comprehensive, real-world perspective to leadership. I believe the path to operational excellence is paved by putting people first; that's why my primary focus is delivering robust technical support and creating clear pathways for career development for everyone on my team.My success is built on an ability to actively listen to my staff's needs, turning their feedback into actionable improvements. Whether I’m leveraging my skills in data tracking and Excel to build efficiencies, or providing hands-on coaching, my goal is to simplify their jobs and remove obstacles so they can excel. If you’re a talented individual seeking a role in utility design where your voice is heard, your growth is prioritized, and your supervisor acts as your biggest advocate, I encourage you to connect with me to explore opportunities at Sigma Technologies.
