My professional outlook comes from my love for connection. The things that energize me most are the conversations I get to have with new people each and every day. Carrying this demeanor has allowed me to learn so much by staying curious and humble, while making sure to keep both eyes and ears open to new perspectives. I've turned my passion for connection into the cornerstone piece of my career, being a professional in the Higher Education and Student Affairs field. It's within this focus area that I strive to enhance student connection in the best way I know how: Web-based engagement platforms! Through acquiring my M.S. in Higher Education Policy and Student Affairs, I got to extensively research the topic of student engagement technology. In creating a student engagement platform proposal of my own as part of my experiential learning, I know that I possess the skillset and passion needed to succeed as someone representing companies or institutions that care deeply about connecting students to each other.
