As a risk and insurance leader, I’ve built my career on creating structure where none exists and steering organizations through complex, high-stakes challenges. Whether designing due diligence frameworks, integrating multi-billion-dollar acquisitions, or building risk programs for one of the world’s largest renewable portfolios, I bring clarity, rigor, and creativity to ambiguous situations. My early career experiences on the account side of the business taught me grit, when I had to I built a book of business from zero. Today, I’m known across my organization for being steady under pressure and able to build trust quickly—whether I’m guiding a team through a large claim, helping integrate a multi-billion dollar acquisition, or navigating a challenging client negotiation. I’m equally comfortable diving into the technical details and leading high-level strategic discussions. At my core, I believe good risk management is about clarity, relationships, and follow-through—and I take pride in delivering all three. Here are some of my proudest achievements: I’ve directed insurance strategy for one of North America’s most complex renewable energy portfolios, designing innovative risk-transfer structures and coordinating across global carriers to protect multi-million-dollar assets. I’ve led and supported multiple successful large-scale acquisitions, including a multibillion dollar deal, by creating a standardized due diligence process, streamlining risk assessments, and training deal teams on new protocols. I’ve contributed to tens of millions in premium savings by helping to consolidate insurance policies. I’ve ensured compliance with many financing agreements through negotiating favorable contract terms with large international lenders and creditors, and training teams to identify red flags. I’ve recovered tens of millions of dollars by leading the North American claims function, securing interim payments, strengthening financial outcomes and operational resilience. I’ve led the retention of a multi-million dollar marquee account by restructuring service delivery, instituting weekly team reviews, increasing senior client engagement, and launching captive insurance planning. I believe trust, clear expectations, and accountability are the foundations of high-performing teams.
