About Matthew Goydos

Graduate form Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, NJ Have worked in both courthouses and for public defenders in the state of New Jersey while attending law school, gaining skills in legal research, legal document drafting, and client communication. Since starting at Rutgers Newark Law School, I have not only focused on my studies but been involved in several organizations across campus, including the Women's Reproductive Rights Law Society, and the LGBTQ+ Caucus. Also a graduate from Lehigh University, BA in Political Science and Classical Civilizations. Passion for Civil Rights and LGBTQ+ Rights Law For 3 years I served as a Teachers Assistant for Law classes at Lehigh University under Patrick McCormick, working with teachers and students in 9 classes total including Introductory and Intermediate law classes, Patent Law, Sports Law, and First year Law School prep courses. I assisted in preparing lectures, as well as grading materials, tests, and final projects of prospective law students along with my fellow TA's. In doing so, I learned not only about the law, but about working with other professionals.
