With 20+ years working in emerging and frontier markets, I guide investors, companies, and institutions through geocontextual and operational complexities via capital, risk, and partnership strategies. My perspective blends Eastern and Western lenses — shaped by hands-on work in Central Asia, South Asia, Eastern Africa, and 8 of China’s neighboring countries. I track how politics, industry, and investment collide — and translate that into institutional strategy. Earlier, I served as a UN advisor and international development director in conflict zones and fragile economies. Sectoral exposure spans mining, EVs, banking, manufacturing, and energy — across both state-owned firms and listed multinationals. Outside work, I speak at European universities, mentor emerging professionals, and stay grounded in civic and academic spaces. Whether advising Danish and global investors, moderating panels across emerging markets, or playing Old Boys Hockey, I operate where influence meets execution — rooted in Denmark, globally engaged.
