About Matthew Grobler

I am an engineer who is passionate about solving problems using modern technology to drive business outcomes. Customer experiences are often disappointing and usually don't meet the potential of what technology can ultimately deliver. It is my goal to help change this through my network, key partnerships, and the engagements I have with businesses to advise accordingly. I am currently working at INOVO as the Regional Head of our Business Development Team in the Western Cape and Durban regions. Within this role, I am responsible for all sales, pre-sales, innovation, demonstration, and commercial engagements in these regions for existing clients and new business. I am also very involved in Product Management, holding key relationships with our third-party vendors who supply us with technology from across the USA and Europe. Our solution stack at INOVO, which I have experience with, includes contact centre, workforce engagement, chatbots, business process automation and BI reporting amongst other technologies that I have dealt with along the way. A large portion of my success has been down to challenging the standard way of engaging with new and existing clients. My goal is always to understand the relevant client pain points and use cases and advise on solutions that actually drive value and don't just tick a box. This way of thinking has been very successful, and this, in addition to continuously delivering quality work, has resulted in me going from a new recruit to Regional Head at INOVO in under four years. However, my passion doesn't just sit in the business world, and I find it is important to have interests outside of the workspace. I am a keen sportsman and tri-athlete and have been competitive in numerous events throughout South Africa including the Argus, X-Terra, and 70.3 Half Ironman to name a few.
